The Tattooed Heart: A Musical Conversation on the Mysteries of the Heart, musically traces the many facets of love, with guest vocalist Codie Carman Pitcher joining the five-piece band. In the tradition of the band’s two previous original productions, Chronicling the Blues and Journaling the Blues, The Tattooed Heart features thirteen new original songs written by David Gregor and arranged by the Deja Blooze band specifically for this program. The Tattooed Heart is a series of musical vignettes addressing various aspects of the heart with spoken-word interludes that broadly address the subject. These new songs have not been previously performed publicly. Together, the music and spoken words speak to the many colors of The Tattooed Heart.
